Basket Advisory is built and run by people who do the work in the Ugandan market every day — combining deep financial and compliance expertise with the technology that delivers it.
Kennedy is the founder of Basket Advisory Technologies, where he conceives the ventures, assembles the teams and tools to deliver them, and operates them in the real Ugandan market. He builds much of Basket's infrastructure himself, pairing hands-on technical work with the commercial and strategic leadership that turns platforms — from payroll to gig-worker credit — into working businesses. He also serves as a commercial lead at Xente, a Bank of Uganda–licensed payments platform.
Patrick leads Basket's finance function and its client advisory practice, anchoring the firm's tax, compliance and audit expertise. A Certified Public Accountant of Uganda (full member of ICPAU) with over ten years in auditing, tax consultancy and financial management, he specialises in tax filing, statutory compliance and audit — advising clients on the disciplines at the core of Basket's work while overseeing the firm's own finances. He holds a first-class honours degree in Accounting and Finance and an MBA, and is pursuing a PhD in Business Administration by research.
Mary drives Basket's growth and partnerships — leading B2B outreach to manufacturers, labour and manpower companies, building the prospect pipeline, and running Basket's social selling on LinkedIn. She also supports the Farmers Project, helping cooperatives onboard farmers onto the Basket system and generate digital payslips. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Makerere University Business School, and brings field-research experience from her work as a research assistant collecting and managing data across Uganda.
Whether you need payroll and compliance handled, a financial model built, or a research partner with real market data — let's talk.
