Lead Basket Advisory's agribusiness project management practice across Uganda. Drive business development, manage client delivery, and deploy the Jirani platform for farmer mobilisation, coffee and cocoa value chain development, fish producer programmes, and agro-input dealer network management across Uganda's key production regions.
- Lead business development — identify, pitch, and close clients across coffee, cocoa, fish, and agro-input sectors in Uganda
- Manage end-to-end agribusiness programme delivery including farmer mobilisation, crop consolidation, impact tracking, and donor reporting
- Deploy and train clients on the Jirani farmer mobilisation platform across Uganda's growing regions
- Build and maintain relationships with UCDA, UNADA, cooperatives, USAID, GIZ, World Bank, and agribusiness investors
- Oversee field programme managers and agronomists delivering on-the-ground farmer support
- Develop proposals and budgets for donor-funded agribusiness projects and implementing partner programmes
- Minimum 5 years experience in agribusiness, agricultural development, or value chain management in Uganda
- Track record of managing farmer programmes, cooperatives, or agro-input dealer networks
- Experience with donor-funded agricultural programmes (USAID, GIZ, EU, World Bank) is a strong advantage
- Strong commercial instincts — ability to develop and close business relationships independently
- University degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or related field
Lead Basket Advisory's project management practice for road construction, building construction, and infrastructure development across Uganda. Build relationships with UNRA contractors, KCCA-funded projects, and private developers while overseeing project delivery from planning through to handover.
- Lead business development — build relationships with UNRA contractors, KCCA-funded projects, and private construction developers
- Manage project oversight including contractor management, timeline tracking, budget control, and compliance reporting
- Develop and manage relationships with UNRA, KCCA, Ministry of Works, and PPDA
- Supervise site engineers, quantity surveyors, and project coordinators across Uganda
- Manage payroll processing for construction workforces through Basket Payroll
- Prepare monthly project management reports and financial utilisation summaries for clients and funders
- Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering, construction project management, or infrastructure development in Uganda
- Working knowledge of PPDA regulations, UNRA standards, and KCCA road design guidelines
- Experience managing construction workforces including casual labour payroll administration
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- Membership of UIPE or equivalent professional body is an advantage
Lead Basket Advisory's communications, reputation management, and marketing practice for corporates, NGOs, executives, and institutions across Uganda and East Africa. Build and manage PR and marketing mandates while overseeing the Tajiri platform for field activations and distribution intelligence.
- Lead business development — pitch and win PR and marketing retainers from corporates, NGOs, and executives across Uganda
- Manage executive PR and reputation building for CEOs, directors, and public figures across East Africa
- Oversee brand activations, product launches, corporate events, and marketing campaigns across Uganda
- Deliver digital marketing services including SEO, Google Ads, social media management, and content marketing
- Deploy Tajiri for clients requiring field outreach, agent network management, and distribution channel intelligence
- Produce monthly performance reports including media coverage, digital reach, and campaign ROI
- Minimum 5 years experience in PR, communications, marketing, or brand management in Uganda
- Demonstrated experience managing executive PR or crisis communications mandates
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing, SEO, and social media management for Ugandan audiences
- Strong network of media contacts across Uganda's print, broadcast, and digital media landscape
- Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field
Lead Basket Advisory's logistics advisory and management practice, connecting businesses with verified transport providers, managing supply chain operations, and deploying Kazi Score for credit-based fleet financing across Uganda and East Africa.
- Lead business development — target manufacturers, agribusinesses, NGOs, and construction firms with logistics mandates
- Build and manage Uganda's verified truck and fleet outsourcing network
- Oversee GPS fleet tracking and route optimisation deployments for client fleets across Uganda
- Manage end-to-end supply chain consulting including procurement management and vendor coordination
- Deploy Kazi Score for assessing truck drivers and logistics operators seeking mobile credit facilities
- Manage last-mile distribution for agro-inputs, FMCG goods, and construction materials upcountry
- Minimum 5 years experience in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet management in Uganda
- Strong understanding of Uganda's road network, transport regulations, and cross-border logistics routes
- Experience managing fleet operations, driver management, or GPS tracking systems
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of FMCG, agribusiness, or construction supply chain requirements is an advantage
Lead Basket Advisory's human capital advisory practice across Uganda and East Africa. Manage client work permit applications, executive headhunting mandates, HR outsourcing contracts, and payroll management engagements — building Uganda's most respected human capital advisory practice.
- Lead business development for HR outsourcing, work permits, headhunting, and payroll management mandates
- Manage end-to-end work permit and immigration advisory for expatriates in Uganda — Class G and Class K permits
- Oversee executive recruitment and headhunting mandates for C-suite and specialist roles across East Africa
- Manage HR outsourcing contracts delivering policy development, disciplinary processes, and employment law compliance
- Oversee Basket Payroll deployments ensuring accurate PAYE, NSSF, and statutory compliance for clients
- Build and maintain a talent database of qualified candidates across Uganda's key professional sectors
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR, recruitment, HR outsourcing, or immigration services in Uganda
- Working knowledge of Uganda's Employment Act, labour laws, NSSF regulations, and work permit requirements
- Proven track record in executive headhunting or talent acquisition across multiple sectors
- Experience managing payroll outsourcing for organisations with 50 or more employees
- Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Law, or related field; CIPD or IHRM is an advantage
