Should I add Uganda VAT to my invoice?
Only if your business is VAT-registered with URA and your annual turnover exceeds UGX 150 million. Uganda VAT is 18%. If you are not VAT-registered, leave the VAT toggle off. Adding VAT when you are not registered is a URA compliance issue.
What must a valid Uganda invoice include?
Your name and address, client name and address, unique invoice number, invoice date, due date, description of services, quantity, unit price, subtotal, VAT if applicable, and total amount due. Our generator includes all required fields.
Can I add MTN MoMo to my invoice?
